THE POSITION:
Chastang Auto Group is hiring a Marketing Manager to lead our cross-store marketing strategy and execution. Reporting directly to the COO, you’ll oversee marketing and communication efforts for both retail and commercial divisions, driving brand awareness, generating opportunities, and elevating the group’s presence across the Houston market and beyond.
The ideal candidate is well-rounded, knowledgeable, and passionate about marketing, someone who brings a strategic mindset but is also hands on with execution. You should demonstrate strong copywriting abilities, have a solid marketing perspective with a willingness to continuously learn, and stay up to date on the latest trends, tools, and industry best practices.
This is a dynamic role that blends creativity with strategy and requires the ability to manage multiple campaigns, collaborate across departments, and deliver results in a fast paced environment.
Lead and manage multi-channel marketing initiatives for both retail and commercial divisions, including branding, digital marketing, website updates, SEO, PPC, email, and content strategy.
Develop full-funnel marketing campaigns for new and used vehicle sales, commercial upfit inventory, service and Quick Lane, lease specials, and more.
Manage social media channels and content calendars, maintain a strong digital voice that aligns with each department’s unique audience.
Partner with our SEO strategist to develop and enhance landing pages and digital content across all dealership websites, with a focus on improving user experience and maximizing conversions.
Collaborate with Sales, Service and Parts
Oversee media buys, sponsorships, and local partnerships, ensuring alignment with branding and ROI goals.
Track and report on key performance metrics for campaigns and channels. Use data to adjust strategies and inform leadership of growth opportunities.
Support internal communications and training, helping sales and service teams understand and use marketing assets effectively.
Manage relationships with external vendors
Lead creative efforts for flyers, signage, digital assets, event marketing, and more using tools like Adobe Illustrator, Canva, Vista Print
Support community events and philanthropic initiatives, driving positive brand exposure within Houston.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have 5 years of experience in website support, digital marketing, or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Digital Media, or a related field preferred
A clear understand and/or 2 years' experience in the Automotive industry
Must be social media savvy
Working knowledge and experience in Web Design
Experience in Adobe Creative Suite is highly preferred – Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
Must be proficient in Microsoft applications including office
