Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly stocked and sanitized.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper accounting for all sales.
- Monitor guest consumption levels and adhere to responsible serving practices.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques, menu offerings, and customer service standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending or food service within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of brewing techniques, cocktail recipes, and beverage pairings.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Experience in fine dining environments is a plus but not required.
