In the restaurant, you will serve our customers by ensuring they are seated quickly, their orders are received, prepared, and delivered in a timely manner, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next customers. Compensation:$6.75 - $26 hourly
Responsibilities:- Attend all pre-shift and departmental meetings to improve communications and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities
- Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties
- Greet customers, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve orders promptly, and accommodate any special needs or requests
- Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors
- Establish a full knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to respond to client inquiries and make recommendations
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
- Previous experience working in food service is preferred
- Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
