Wage: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour, DOE
Schedule: We are open to discussing the days of the week for this position, the hours are 8:30am-5:00pm and you must work 5 days a week. There will be on-call requirements as being in a lead role.
A Day in the Life:
- Assist the Maintenance Director with supervision and guidance of the maintenance and housekeeping teams.
- Act as the primary supervisor for unit turnovers to prepare for new residents, including servicing appliances, replacing old or faulty parts, and interior painting
- Perform general maintenance and repairs of in the building, including but not limited to minor plumbing repairs, general carpentry, painting, drywall, minor appliance repair, and cleaning
- Address and follow up on all resident work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain professional, friendly, and positive relationships and interactions with all residents, guests, and staff
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of general maintenance experience or equivalent training
- At least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role preferred
- Computer proficiency is helpful but not required
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Must pass a Department of Social & Health Services background check (some negative actions are acceptable)
