Chateau Health & Wellness operates an adult residential rehabilitation center specializing in treating individuals with mental health and substance abuse disorders. Our program is nationally recognized for its focus on addressing underlying issues and unresolved trauma. We cater specifically to first responders and individuals aged 30 and above, providing a unique and conducive healing environment. Job Description :

Chateau Health & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and compassionate CNA or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our dynamic team. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care and supporting the overall functioning of our facility.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
  • Assist in setting and transporting clients to appointments outside the facility.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure and temperature.
  • Perform weekly medication reconciliations and manage refills for clients.
  • Assist patients with medication reminders and administration.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Support the implementation of care plans and treatment goals.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Education & Experience : :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
  • Current certification as a medical assistant in the state of Utah.
  • Previous experience in a medical office, behavioral health, treatment center or senior care setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of patient care techniques and procedures.
  • Familiarity with psychiatric medications and residential mental health treatment is preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical examinations and assist with patient assessments.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • 1-3 years of applicable experience

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Injection certified
  • TB tests
  • Blood draws

    • Other Requirements :

  • If not already certified for injections and draws, a willingness to to go through training
  • Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), and Community Care Licensing (CCL) background clearance.
  • Able to pass a drug screen
  • First Aid Training Certification
  • CPR Certification

    Pay : $18 - $25 depending on experience

    Job Type : Full-time

    Expected hours : 40 per week
