Kitchen Porter

We are looking for someone wanting to get a start in the kitchen, or someone great who just is looking for some extra hours.

A bit about our current situation: We are expanding our kitchen, and need some great people to make that happen! The Job will start in Midway part-time until we move to Oakley this summer. At that point, there will be full-time available, and more positions opening up. Come be part of the team to make that happen!

Currently at Midway, we need independent and responsible porters to arrive early evening (4:00 pm), help the chefs get dinner out and served, and then take over the kitchen until close. At Oakley, the position will assist throughout the day.

This individual is required to accomplish a task list every evening, consisting of activities like breaking down dinner, storing leftovers, washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, and other related tasks. The anticipated time for each shift is 3-4 hours daily starting from around 4 pm to approximately 7 pm. However, there is some flexibility based on the availability of the applicant. The role is open for all seven days of the week, including weekends at Oakley. It is possible that a few individuals may be hired to cover the shift, and candidates who can work for a limited number of shifts per week are also encouraged to apply.

For someone just starting out their kitchen resume, this is great exposure to see how a kitchen runs, and demonstrate excellent customer service. This position reports directly to the Chef.
