Full Time Year-Round Server Position at Chatham Bars Inn
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic server to join our team at Chatham Bars Inn, a Forbes Travel Guide Five Star Hotel located on 25 oceanfront acres in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
About the Role
This is a full-time year-round position that requires excellent communication skills, a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Greet and welcome guests at assigned tables
- Assist guests with their orders and ensure quality and accuracy of orders
- Announce current menu and daily specials, and be able to explain menu items and ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and deliver bill requests
- Ensure proper methods of payment from guests, and perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year experience in fine dining service
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Superior customer service and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work long hours and be flexible with schedules and hours (including weekends and holidays)
- Current TIPS Alcohol Certification or comparable alcohol service certification
