As Equipment Mechanic III, you willÂ
As Equipment Mechanic III, you willÂ
- Perform repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance on all models of light duty vehicles, including Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, Honda, Nissan, and others.Â
- Inspect and repair all automotive electronic and mechanical systems.Â
- Perform diagnosis using electronic scanners, computer and vehicle/equipment tools, and/or software.Â
- Perform new unit prep and equipment installation.Â
- Repair or rebuild component systems in automotive and specialized equipment.Â
- Read complex electrical and hydraulic schematics using diagnostic flow charts.Â
- Respond to emergency service calls.Â
- Maintain vehicle history, parts inventory, and daily labor records.Â
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED andÂ
- Vocational/technical training in general equipment diagnostics and repair, andÂ
- Three (3) years of experience in automotive/mechanical repair and maintenance; orÂ
- Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Â
- Must possess and maintain a valid Master Auto and Truck Mechanic certification.Â
- Must possess and maintain a valid Air Conditioning/CFC Recovery certification.Â
- Must possess and provide master's level mechanics tools.Â
- EVT certification.
- Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
