Under general supervision, youÂ
- Perform a variety of general clerical, administrative support, and information dissemination services in a fast-paced environment.Â
- Operate a point-of-sale system, accepting cash, checks, and/or credit card payments for merchandise and/or services such as rounds of golf.Â
- Answer telephone calls, distribute mail, receive and greet visitors, prepare correspondence and other documents, and process various information, forms, records, and data.Â
- Obtain a working knowledge of golf activities and protocols to ensure proper golf course operations, follow up on complaints, and respond to citizens' questions and comments.Â
- Serve as a central communication point within the department.Â
- Use your interpersonal skills as you work with and encounter various people.Â
- Perform your duties and responsibilities accurately, quickly, and often under time-sensitive deadlines.Â
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED, andÂ
- At least one (1) year of general office operations and/or customer service experience; orÂ
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience. Â Â
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.Â
- Clerical testing will be required during the interview process for selected candidates.
