Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Deputy Court Administrator or designee, you will supervise a caseload of juvenile offenders in a specialized treatment court, track their progress, work with a multi-disciplinary team, maintain records of their cases, and testify in court. You will need to create social histories, risk assessments, petitions, and other court documents in compliance with the Juvenile Code. Your responsibilities include processing and disposition of court cases involving juvenile offenders. You will need to assess the needs of both juveniles and their families from a trauma-informed perspective, provide social service referrals as necessary, and monitor and document progress. To excel in this role, you should be able to analyze crises and make quick decisions. You will collaborate closely with community social service agencies. Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or a closely related field, and one (1) year of experience in case management or working with juveniles; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred. You must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
