- Prepares lesson plans and provides swimming instruction to students according to the curriculum for the various courses, levels, and ages.
- Monitors and maintains records of student progress.
- Ensures all equipment is in proper working order.
- Uses customer service skills when communicating with students, parents, and coworkers.
- Arrives fifteen minutes before class and cleans equipment after class.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must be a minimum of fifteen (15) years of age.
- Instructors must take and pass the StarFish Swim School Instructor Course.
- First Aid and CPR certification are preferred.
