Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver course content related to pediatrics, ensuring alignment with program objectives and accreditation standards.
- Engage students through interactive teaching methods, fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Review and assess student documentation and assignments, providing constructive feedback to promote academic growth.
- Collaborate with faculty members to enhance curriculum development and instructional strategies.
- Conduct research to stay current in the field of pediatrics and incorporate relevant findings into course materials.
- Utilize LMS platforms like Blackboard for course management, including posting materials, grading assignments, and communicating with students.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to program improvement initiatives.
Experience
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in Nursing, Education, or a related field; Doctorate preferred.
- Proven experience in pediatrics within a hospital or teaching hospital setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with documentation review processes and educational best practices for adult learners.
- Experience with curriculum development and instructional design is an advantage.
- Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS), particularly Blackboard, for course delivery.
