The Chattanooga Convention Center has an immediate opening for an Event Manager. The Event Manager is the primary contact between the Chattanooga Convention Center and the contact for all events utilizing the Convention Center. The Event Manager assimilates all information pertaining to the event and distributes that information to the various departments within the Convention Center. The Event Manager manages all aspects of the event while on-site and processes the event billing for the accounting department at the end of the event. The position reports to the Director of Event Services.
Qualifications for this position are:
- College degree or equivalent experience required
- Must be computer literate and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must be able to work a varied schedule to include nights and weekends
- Candidate must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
