PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plans, delivers, and assesses highly effective instruction aligned to national and state content standards.
- Enacts the Chattanooga Prep college preparatory curriculum using evidence-based instructional practices tailored to students needs.
- Cooperates and participates in the development of individualized education programs.
- Cooridnates the development of individual instruction plan for each child, including developmental and sequential short-term objectives leading to the achievement of annual goals specified in the IEP.
- Captures student attention through active involvement.
- Administers student assessments and utilize data to identify areas of growth.
- Establishes clear content and language objectives for all lessions.
- Engages in continuous and sustained reflection on teaching practices and leadership behaviors, and adapt methods as needed to achieve school goals and performance objectives.
- Develops strong and sustained relationships with parents and members of the community by creating opportunities for involvement in students learning and development.
- Plans and collaborates with Chattanooga Prep teachers and colleagues to reach shared goals and objectives.
- Fosters a motivating, supportive, learning-centered culture of excellence in a well-structured and managed classroom.
- Establishes and enforces rules of behavior and procedures for maintaining order in their classroom.
- Be innovative. Create exciting and engaging, inquiry-oriented learning activities.
