Chattanooga Sewing Machines is currently seeking an experienced Salesperson to join our team in Chattanooga, TN
We run a successful family owned sewing machine dealership located in Chattanooga, TN. This last year we were a top 25 Janome dealer as well as a top 30 Brother dealer. Thanks to our wonderful customers, we have grown within our industry and have added Baby Lock and Pfaff. We also are an e-commerce store that sells online on many platforms as well.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Offers quality customer service to each and every customer.
- Answers phones, takes detailed information from the customer for call backs.
- Informs current and prospective customers of current promotions and new or upgraded products.
- Quotes prices and encourages customers to buy.
- Checks customer credit and confirms full payment before approving any sale.
- Keeps our storefront and showroom clean and organized with machines ready to demo..
- Enters names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects into computer database system.
- Follows up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, acquire about further sales, and solve or refer problems.
- Assists customer find the best products for their machine and or hobby.

Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent, plus one year training and/or experience. Two years in an entry level or higher sales or marketing job.
Language Skills

Mathematical Skills
