Reports to: Weatherization Manager
Basic Function or Position Summary:
Provide program support through purchasing, inventory management, file development, and community outreach activities. Salary $17.65/hourly
Security Clearance: Level 1 V,A,C,R
Requirements
Position Responsibilities and Specific Duties:
- Serve as a liaison between Chautauqua Opportunities, Inc. and partner organizations.
- Provide customers with intake paperwork and assist customers with the procurement of documents necessary to determine eligibility prior to a referral to navigation.
- Assist Energy Auditor with data entry and file development.
- Oversee daily inventory management, ensure preparation of materials for the job sight, and manage the bi-annual inventory count.
- Develop relationships with local agencies that serve low-income families and provide outreach materials for Weatherization programs.
- Outreach to workforce development agencies to expand workforce development pipeline.
- Assist with purchasing of materials and delivery to job site.
- Assist with preparing bid packets for subcontracted vendors
- Assist in the development of outreach materials for weatherization, including but not limited to public service announcements, posters, promotional items, brochures, pamphlets, and social media posts.
- Attend community events to promote Weatherization Services.
- Promotes agency mission.
- Maintains confidentiality and complies with the code of ethics.
- Maintains consistent professional customer service.
- Job performance incorporates integrated service delivery model while promoting self-sufficiency.
- Other duties as designated by supervisor.
Key Working Relationships:
A. Internal: Weatherization Manager, Weatherization Energy Auditors, Weatherization Clerk, Navigators
B. External: Service staff at community agencies, customers.

Organizational Responsibilities:
- Adheres to all policies and procedures.
- Gathers appropriate documentation and tracks outcomes.
- Participates in organizational committee structures as appropriate.
- Participates in organizational and divisional management systems.
Knowledge, Skills Required:
- Associate’s Degree in Sciences, Business, or Human Services required.
- A minimum of two years of customer service, human services, or program management experience required.
- Strong attention to detail and follow up.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with program participants.
- Good computer skills, including word processing, data entry and using google docs
Physical:
- Ability to lift up to and including 25-50 pounds of physical effort.
Special Requirements:
- Must be able to provide consistent even tempered customer service at all times.
- Valid Driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to travel throughout the county.
- Works compassionately with a diverse population.
- Experience navigating community programs.
- Ability to work occasional non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
