We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students and possess strong skills in behavior management. Job Duties
- Complete required online and in-person coach training in August 2024
- Assist with coaching and instruction to a team of up to fifteen 3rd and 4th grade girls using the Girls on the Run curriculum for two 90-minute after school sessions per week between 4/7/25 and 6/6/2025 at Fletcher Elementary School in Jamestown
- Implement program to enhance running skills and endurance while building confidence and leadership skills in young girls
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for participants to grow and excel
- Teach sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline through coaching sessions
- Supervise practice sessions twice per week and accompany participants to culminating race in Buffalo on 6/8/2025
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with students in a coaching or mentoring capacity
- Proficient in behavior management techniques
- Able to commit to entire season
- Strong communication skills, dependable, self-motivated and positive role model
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
