We seek a dedicated and experienced Family Resource Program Manager to oversee the operations of our Family Resource Center (FRC) operations and lead our team in delivering high-quality services to families in our community.
Job Summary:
The Family Resource Program Manager is responsible for the overall management and coordination of the Family Resource Center. This role involves supervising FRC Navigators and other staff, developing and implementing family support programs, ensuring service quality, and maintaining strong community partnerships. The ideal candidate will be trauma-informed, highly organized, and committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for clients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Management:
- Oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of the FRC.
- Develop and implement family support programs tailored to community needs.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with the FRC Director to enhance program quality and address issues.
Staff Supervision and Development:
- Supervise and support FRC Navigators and other staff.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews.
- Identify and facilitate professional development opportunities.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Client Services:
- Ensure families receive comprehensive and coordinated services.
- Oversee case management and maintain accurate client documentation.
- Address and resolve client issues promptly while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
Collaboration and Outreach:
- Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders.
- Represent the FRC at community meetings and events.
- Engage with the community to align center activities with organizational goals.
Administrative Duties:
- Prepare and manage the center’s budget with the FRC Director.
- Ensure compliance with funding requirements and organizational policies.
- Prepare reports and documentation for funders and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records and data collection.
Training and Professional Development:
- Ensure staff complete ongoing training to stay updated on best practices.
- Design and implement training programs for clients and the community.
- Develop and maintain a community calendar with training sessions and events.
- Coordinate with partners to collocate services at the FRC.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed, for events and outreach efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Job experience may be looked at as a substitute for lack of degree.
- Experience in a supervisory role within social services or family support is preferred.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and family support principles.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Valid New Mexico driver's license and proof of current insurance.
- Must pass a background check, including criminal, motor vehicle, and child abuse registry records.
