Restaurant Hostess

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Hostess to join our team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring that the dining area is welcoming and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
• Provide guests with menus and inform them of daily specials or promotions.
• Assist guests with any inquiries regarding the menu, restaurant policies, or services offered.
• Ensure that the dining area is clean, organized, and ready for service at all times.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy to enhance guest relations.
• Maintain phone etiquette when answering calls for reservations or inquiries about the restaurant.

Requirements

• Previous experience in guest services, hospitality, or food service is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for guests.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A friendly demeanor and a proactive approach to helping guests feel welcome and valued.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a restaurant setting.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
