Detailer/Lot Porter

Chaz Limited Auto Body is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our Wasilla team as a full-time Auto Detailer/Porter! If you have a high attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to meet you! This is an entry-level position; formal or informal detailing experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-wash on vehicles, preparing them for the repair process
• Thoroughly clean and detail vehicles prior to the final delivery to the customer, visually inspecting the vehicle for any flaws in the repair area(s)
• Shuttling customers and in-process vehicles to and from the repair facility as needed
• Assist with general building maintenance needs and upkeep
• May occasionally assist with Pre-Scan and Post-Scan of vehicles
• Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be reliable, dependable, and adaptable. Must have strong organizational and communication skills and work well both alone and on a team. Must possess a valid AK Driver License with minimal moving violations, and have reliable transportation to and from work. Must be able to work Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm; some overtime may be required.

• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to work outside for extended periods of time in cold temperatures
