The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) is seeking an Echocardiography Sonography Instructor to deliver engaging curriculum and provide hands-on guidance to students. Responsibilities:
- Provide competency-based education aligned with CHCP’s model of curricula.
- Develop and deliver instructional plans and activities that meet course competencies.
- Foster a classroom environment conducive to learning and student involvement.
- Monitor and manage student progress, attendance, and grade reporting.
- Offer weekly feedback and guidance to students, ensuring opportunities for improvement.
- Manage the learning environment by keeping accurate records, enforcing policies, and submitting reports on time.
- Contribute to campus initiatives and serve on special project committees.
- Relate industry experience to learning by incorporating professional trends and skills into the curriculum.
- Attend Program Advisory Committee meetings annually to ensure program relevance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or higher.
- Appropriate credential(s) specific to sonography concentrations offered.
- Proficiency in teaching methodology, supervision, evaluation, and guidance.
- Minimum of three years full-time professional experience as a general, cardiac, pediatric cardiac Sonographer, or vascular technologist.
