The Center for Human Development, (CHD) is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team in the New Hartford, CT area. Our residential, outreach, and direct care staff establish life-changing relationships with our participants and provide opportunities to optimize their independence, rehabilitation and recovery.
Your role as an Assistant Manager:
Residential Assistant Manager assists the Program Manager in the day to day scheduling and management of team administrative functions. The position also serves as a highly effective direct care staff. The Assistant Manager is an individual who has demonstrated a high degree of responsibility and ability to manage details. The position can be used as a first step for direct care staff to demonstrate management abilities.
REQUIRMENTS:
- High School diploma or GED required
- At least 2 year experience working with psychiatric disorders or co-occurring population
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to pass certification for CPR, First Aid
- Male applicants encouraged to apply
- Reliable, registered & insured vehicle and approved driving record check.
- Approved criminal background check (CORI)

Shift available: (Some flexibility on weekend and evening hours)
- Full time 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) Tuesday-Saturday
