The Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking an Substance Use Recovery Nurse to join our team! The Substance Use Recovery Nurse provides direct nursing services in our residential recovery homes
Your responsibilities as a Substance Use Recovery Nurse:
- Assist the program with Health Assessments by obtaining medical documents/information that pertains to the residents and will provide direct medical services
- Provide education for the residents in the form of groups
- Manage medications, doctors’ orders, and medical paperwork
- Work closely with the program staff, doctors’ offices, families, and area pharmacies
REQUIRMENTS:
- Must have a valid Registered Nursing License through The Board of Registration in Massachusetts
- LPN are encouraged to apply
- A valid driver’s license and ability to complete a background check
SUCCESS FACTORS:
The ideal Substance Use Recovery Nurse will require the ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary team, able to assess health issues, and has the knowledge regarding health and nutrition. You will also have two years of recent experience providing direct care in a nursing capacity for kids, teens, and adults
