What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Services Clinician - CBHC position at CHD Brand?
- Clinician should be familiar with evidence based practices such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, play therapy, and trauma focused modalities.
- Clinician should be comfortable in a school setting and be able to work collaboratively with school personnel.
- Clinician should be comfortable going to homes as needed or coordinating with families to meet at the CBHC Clinic as needed.
- Clinician should be familiar with crisis assessment, crisis management including safety planning with school, youth, and family, along with various levels of care and referrals that may be made.
Intervention will be shorter term due to the urgent care clinic model but clinician will be adept at quality short term care (3-6 months) and assessing needs and coordination of transfer to most appropriate services.
Clinician will have the opportunity to develop and run one or more dynamic groups for youth. Youth may continue to participate in group even if transferred to other longer term service thereby keeping the connection with clinician and continuity of care.
Schedule:
M-F days 9-5 or 10-6 preferred
