JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Responsibilities

General Duties:

  • Adhere to regulations as described in the CLAH Employee Handbook and uphold the Mission and Values of CLAH with a team-oriented approach to creating a positive work environment
  • Conduct all CLAH business in a client-centered manner
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Reception Duties, 45%:

  • Promote a client-centered practice environment
  • Interact with clients in a manner that shows sensitivity and professionalism
  • Engage as a front-office team member
  • Perform all duties listed on the CSR job description

Personnel/Management Duties, 45%:

  • Oversee or create the work schedules for ER - CSR’s
  • Oversee coverage and shift change issues
  • Participate with HR Manager in hiring process
  • Develop, implement and coordinate a phase-training program for each new hire including training on our veterinary practice management software and conduct 30- and 60-day reviews
  • Conduct annual performance reviews with the HR Manager
  • Provide mentorship and if needed performance intervention
  • Oversee the ordering of office supplies, retail items including pet food.
  • Facilitate consistent improvement of the reception area atmosphere and customer service-oriented amenities
  • Meet regularly with supervisor and other team managers to keep open communication and flow within all areas of the hospital
  • Follow administrative and financial policies of the practice
  • Field client issues and concerns. Pass on to appropriate management when necessary

Accounting Duties, 10%:

  • Prepare or oversee daily bank deposit preparation for accuracy and reconciliation
  • Assure that staff members are properly trained in all cash, credit, check, and CLAH payment arrangement protocol

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
