Assistant General Manager

Position Summary:

• The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is responsible for assisting in day-to-day operations of the business. This includes the development, planning, and implementation of standards and procedures for restaurant-level operations.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Ensure operational excellence and oversee the service floor to uphold the standards set by the leadership team
• Execute training plans for new hire and ongoing development.
• Assist in development of front of house systems and standard operating procedures.
• Drive service standards, guest experience and culture of excellence through hand’s- on, in-person leadership, and guest interaction.
• Oversee maintenance plan so the restaurant runs efficiently and looks beautiful.
• Assist with beverage and dry goods inventory
• Uphold all company values and be a cultural leader and example for all staff.
• Maintain high level of communication standards with leadership, staff, and guests.
• Other duties as required by the business.

Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

• Advanced understanding of restaurant operations with minimum 1-2 years leadership experience in high volume environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems big and small on an enterprise level as well as one on one with staff.
• Proficiency with common computer programs, (ie: Word, Excel, etc), email, and with restaurant POS systems.
• Experienced and thorough understanding of accounting and budgeting processes, including materials, direct and indirect labor, and overheads.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, planning and communication skills.
