Overview:
**Our Assistant Creative Grids® Project Coordinator & Cut Loose Press® Administrator position is an salaried, exempt position based on experience and education levels. Typical hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. This is NOT a remote work position.
The Assistant Administrator position is eligible for an attractive benefit package on the 90th day of employment. Benefits include 401k with company match and full medical, dental, and vision insurance package.

Requirements
Do you love to quilt? Are you a detailed sewist interested in testing products and writing patterns?
Here’s a great opportunity to assist in all Creative Grids® product development phases and their companion Cut Loose Press patterns. This is a full-time position located at Checker Distributor in Maumee, Ohio.
· This position will interact with both internal teams and external designers and vendors.
· Help recruit new designers and ruler ideas
· Liaison between buyers, manufacturers, and designers
· Product tester for new rulers, patterns, and notions
· Write and proof content for marketing literature and ruler and pattern instructions
· Coordinate and create product videos
· Plan events, School Houses, trade show booths, and demonstrations
· Work with Cut Loose Press patterns from the beginning design phase, through submission using the online template, proofreading, editing, generating print-ready pdf files, social media posting, and digital printing.
Skills Required
Quilting and/or sewing knowledge
Good quilting and sewing pattern comprehension and writing
Technical and creative writing skills, with knowledge of grammar
Ability to learn the Cut Loose Press online pattern submission template
Good math skills
Sew project samples as needed to verify instructions or for in-house/show displays
Education
Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and or Business
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
