Job Description

Checkered Flag Automotive Group is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA!

What We Need

Self-motivated individuals
Strong attention to detail
Focus on serving customers

What Our Accounts Payable Clerks Do

Reviews all requisitions for disbursement of checks

Prepares checks for daily expenses and customer refunds

Verifies all purchase orders to vendor invoices

Enters invoices into open item accounts payable

Computes and files monthly sales and tire tax returns

Maintains and updates all vendor W9 tax information, 1099 tax forms, and certificates of liability insurance

Addresses all vendor and customer inquiries concerning accounts payable items

Your Pre-Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Proficient in basic computer skills

1 or more years of related experience
