Position Overview:
Cheeca Lodge & Spa, a luxury 4-diamond resort in the heart of the Florida Keys, is seeking a professional and service-oriented In-Room Dining Server to deliver exceptional food and beverage experiences to our guests in the comfort of their guest rooms. The ideal candidate is attentive, reliable, and dedicated to providing a warm, polished, and timely in-room dining experience.

Employment Type: Hourly / Full-Time or Part-Time
Availability Required: Days, Evenings, Weekends, Holidays
Set up, deliver, and retrieve room service orders in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.
Review each order for accuracy and presentation before delivering to guest rooms.
Ensure correct handling of food and beverages, including temperature control and spill prevention.
Set up in-room dining tables and trays neatly and according to resort standards.
Explain menu items and specials to guests as needed and respond to guest questions or special requests.
Collect and process payments or obtain signatures for room charges.
Retrieve trays and service items promptly after guest use.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the in-room dining staging area and delivery equipment.
Assist with side work such as polishing silverware, folding napkins, and stocking supplies.
Communicate any guest concerns or special requests to the In-Room Dining Supervisor or Manager.
Adhere to grooming, uniform, and hospitality service standards at all times.
Comply with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Previous room service, banquet, or restaurant server experience preferred.
Excellent communication and guest service skills.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and carry trays (up to 40 lbs) for extended periods.
Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work independently.
Must be able to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
