Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests by name, ensuring they feel at home on the property.
- Utilize open-ended questions to understand and meet guests' needs.
- Make informed recommendations and sell reservations for our hotel's restaurants and spa.
- Book various reservations including transportation, fishing trips, and local attractions, ensuring impartiality and guest preference.
- Respond to guest inquiries about hotel services, registration, and local amenities with accurate and positive information.
- Address phone calls and emails promptly and professionally.
- Resolve guest concerns efficiently, seeking supervisor assistance as required.
- Maintain constant communication with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with Islamorada and the surrounding area.
- Experience in hospitality or restaurant industry in a guest service/front desk capacity (or similar experience).
- At least 18 years of age with basic computer proficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure and tact in resolving guest concerns.
- Proficiency in programs like Visual One, Excel, and Word is preferred. Multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Must already be eligible to work in the USA - we cannot sponsor visas.
- No visible tattoos or facial piercings.
