Cheeca Lodge & Spa is a serene resort in Islamorada, renowned for its tranquil atmosphere and exceptional guest service. As a Security Officer, you will be instrumental in maintaining the security and well-being of our property, guests, and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Enforce the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) to ensure staff compliance and maintain accurate logs of security activities, calls, deliveries, and guest assistance.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to guarantee its security and provide a welcoming presence to guests, offering assistance as a valet and guiding them as needed.
- Manage security protocols for lost keys, property theft, and incident reporting, and effectively handle security-related guest interactions and report incidents.
- Assist with training staff on the Emergency Action Plan and Safety Program, upholding guest confidentiality and following correct procedures for guest room entry.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and resolve concerns tactfully.
- Preferred experience in a security position, computer skills, and bilingual in Spanish and English.
