What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cafe Supervisor position at Cheeky Monkeys - The Woodlands?
KEY OBJECTIVES OF POSITION
A dynamic and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Supervisor should be self-motivated and highly self-disciplined. Should have a natural ability to work on your own and also within a team environment and will be able to multi-task, and be well organized in this busy hands on role.
MAIN DUTIES
- Ensure all customers are provided with outstanding service
- Ensure kitchen is opened and closed according to policy
- Responsible for ordering supplies, and inventory control
- Responsible for food hygiene, and health and safety issues
- Responsible to assist in menu planning, development and meal specials
- Ensure all kitchens and eating areas are organized and maintain a high level of cleanliness
- Adhere to all government guidelines for proper and safe food and beverage service
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
- Experience (at least 1 year) in food and beverage / Hospitality Field
- Experience in POS system is preferred
- The confidence to show exceptional abilities
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Supervisor/Management experience
- A desire to excel and develop your food and beverage career
- Flexibility in available hours
