We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to assist a male client in the UTC area of La Jolla, near UCSD. This role is for 12-hour shifts on Sundays and Mondays. The ideal candidate will enjoy engaging in conversation, walking, and driving the client to appointments. The client has a large, friendly dog, so comfort with pets is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Prepare meals and provide assistance with feeding if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or emotional health.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
- Cell phone with internet access
- Strong organizational & communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and compassion towards others
- Comfortable with pets and able to interact with a large, friendly dog.
- Ability to drive the client to appointments (valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required).

- Competitive salary: $20-$23/hr
