At Cheer Home Care, we are dedicated to providing quality care to seniors in the comfort of their homes. As an In-Home Caregiver, you will not only assist with essential daily living activities but also offer companionship and support to enhance their overall well-being.
This role offers you the opportunity to build strong, meaningful relationships with clients, ensuring they feel valued and cared for.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
- Preparing meals and accommodating special dietary needs
- Supporting clients with medication reminders and health monitoring
- Offering companionship through conversation and engaging activities
- Light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Cell phone with internet access
- Strong organizational & communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and compassion towards others
- Comfortable with pets and able to interact with a large, friendly dog.
- Ability to drive the client to appointments (valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required).
- Active Home Care Aide status (Unsure? We can show you how!)
- Proof of Negative TB results
