Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling protocols.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any customer concerns promptly.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in mixology and customer service.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Proficient in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Experience in restaurant or catering environments preferred.
- Familiarity with cash register operations; experience with Aloha POS is a plus.
- Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Effective time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
- Previous experience in food service is advantageous but not required.
