Job Title: Accounts Receivables Support Assistant
Job Summary:
The A/R Support Assistant is responsible for the management of the account base within specified payment terms, minimizing bad debts, and maintaining up to date, accurate customer files.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collect, monitor, and analyze customer data
- Maintain accurate data in financial system
- Notification and follow thru of resolving skip and short payments
- Daily collection tasks issued such as calling overdue accounts or short pays
- Manage self-service portals
- Assist in posting of customer payments
- Calculate credits for early-pay discounts
- Print-out customer reports
- Invoice Adjustments
- Answering sales rep requests including questions on customer deductions
- Establish lines of communication with vendors
- Deduction Clearing
- Additional duties as assigned
Hours & Classification:
Accounts Receivables employee will work 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday and be classified as a Full time non - exempt employee.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 - 2 years data entry experience
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Self-management
- Knowledge working with technology
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word and Excel and ERP Systems
