Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively and upsell products will contribute to a positive shopping experience and drive sales.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders.
- Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, ensuring all transactions are processed smoothly.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.
- Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Supervise the checkout area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the eating areas and restrooms while ensuring levels of needed products are also stocked in those areas.
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service and support store operations.
- Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or a restaurant environment is preferred is required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
