Position Summary:
The Site Superintendent will oversee all phases of a construction project.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop a schedule and cost-effective plan for completion of an assigned project.
- Coordinate and schedule the work activities of tradespeople, professionals, and laborers, communicating to and via project foreperson to deliver instructions and project assignments as appropriate.
- Regularly inspect work for quality and timeliness; prepares and provides progress reports to owners, project managers and architects; makes recommendations for necessary modifications.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other pertinent stakeholders to ensure specifications and other regulations are met.
- Ensure specifications and regulations outlined in architectural and engineering plans are followed.
- Obtain required licenses; executes construction contracts according to terms of agreement.
- Address any safety violations or other deficiencies.
- Observe and comply with all applicable OSHA Safety Regulations on each worksite.
- Communicate with owners, architects and subcontractors and relay information to project managers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- At least four years of experience in building trade required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.
- Must be able to safely work with sharp tools or power equipment.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains.
- Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Must have physical strength, balance, hand eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time.
- Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day and climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials between 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work some Saturdays and at night, when needed.
