Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Follow the guidelines of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), uniform and dress code, and product safety requirements.
2. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards, keeping work area clean and safe at all times.
3. Maintain a good attendance record and positive attitude.
4. Support company policies and be safety conscious at all times.
5. Successfully complete all maintenance work orders upon assignment.
6. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures and utilize root cause analysis skills to determine best repair methods on all packaging equipment.
7. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain preventative maintenance (PM) schedule of equipment.
8. Know and perform lock out/tag out on all packaging equipment.
9. Provide technical feedback to the Direct of Operations to help operate the equipment efficiently.
10. Upon assignment, assist in installation of new equipment.
11. Work independently and determine proper action in the absence of direct manager support.
12. Recommend enhancements to equipment and procedures, as needed.
13. Work with the team to ensure all programs are working and up-to-date.
14. Work with the team to ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
15. Exhibit forward thinking on future equipment purchases to make systems more efficient and reliable.
16. Be responsible for all equipment at all facilities.
17. Work extended schedules as the needs of the business dictate.
18. Operate and troubleshoot issues with wastewater treatment plant operations.
19. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Qualifications, Education and Experience
1. Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred, or 5 years of experience in the maintenance field.
2. Computer proficiency in Word and Excel a plus.
3. Electrical skills, including use of voltmeters, ohm meters, and pipe benders.
4. Wastewater experience preferred
5. Mig/TIg Welding experience.
6. Troubleshoot techniques related to PLC controls, including PLC processor faults, input output failures, and inaccurate analog signals.
7. Problem solving abilities, strong understanding of mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
8. Determine root cause of failure in complex electrical, mechanical, and controls systems.
9. Effectively present information in one-on-one and meeting situations with other Team Members and the Operations Team.
10. OSHA 10 hour certification preferred.
11. Forklift, manlift and boom lift experience.
Language Skills
1. Ability to read and write English.
2. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
3. Ability to write simple correspondence.
4. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to team leaders, managers, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job:
- The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or touch objects, tools, or controls; reach above shoulders; and talk and listen.
- The employee is occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and use foot/feet to operate machine.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job included close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to work at heights, climbing ladders, stairs and operating manlifts and boom lifts.

Pay Range:
$30.50 - $40.33 per hour
Salary : $31 - $40
