Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement logistics and warehousing strategies to optimize the supply chain and improve efficiency.
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess inventory.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as production, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and manage the logistics budget, including cost control and financial reporting.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of logistics and warehousing professionals.
- Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology solutions to improve operations.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, such as transportation providers and suppliers.
Team Size and Structure:
- The Manager will oversee a team of approximately 20-40 employees, including warehouse supervisors, logistics coordinators, inventory specialists, and warehouse associates.
- The team is structured into several functional units, each led by a supervisor or team lead, responsible for specific areas such as receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and transportation.
- The Manager will work closely with the supervisors to ensure smooth operations and effective communication across all units.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics and warehousing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other logistics technology solutions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP).
- Experience in the food and beverage industry.

Pay Range:
$81,750 - $114,200
