Title: Full-Time Culinary Assistant: Cooking Classes

Start Date: Summer 2023

Summary: Full-Time, Salary Position.

Assist cooking classes for adults (public and private classes) by preparing for menu, set up of room and comfort with giving proper instruction to all guests. Communicate with managers regarding ordering, event management, guest relations and other needs for the space at CAK. Showcase leadership skills amongst staff and guests. Help in keeping all the units of Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen organized (classes with catering/meals and general housekeeping of CAK). Assisting kids/teen classes and being trained to lead kids camps and classes. Assist catering and family table meal department with production as needed.

Primary Work Days are Monday – Friday with occasional Saturday mornings for cooking classes. Scheduled shifts will vary time.

Candidate must have great attention to detail, carry a warm presence and be comfortable to teach guests correct cooking methods. Must be hard-working and willing to go above to help out peers. We have a great work environment and support system.

REQUIREMENT: culinary degree and 2 years of industry work experience. Line cook experience is a plus.
