Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive the highest level of service in our fine dining establishment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and engage guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests to enhance their dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Handle guest payments efficiently and accurately.
- Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures.
- Perform other restaurant tasks that are asked by the management and leadership.
- Build rapport with the entire team to ensure friendly working environment and stress free workplace.
- Follow health and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or fine dining is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items as necessary within the kitchen environment.
