We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable/ Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor accounts, and ensuring timely payments. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain vendor records and ensure timely payments
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies
- Generate reports related to accounts payable as needed
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred)
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
