About the Role
Chef Robotics is seeking a highly skilled Lead Manufacturing Technician to assemble, test, and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise, keen attention to detail, and the ability to lead and collaborate in a team-oriented environment. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to ensure high-quality assembly and performance.
\n- Assemble mechanical and electrical components to build complex systems, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve system issues effectively.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date work instructions, travelers, reports, records, and production documentation to reflect schedules, performance, and methodologies.
- Ensure the assembly team adheres to work instructions and completes all necessary documentation, including travelers.
- Oversee production schedules, material allocation, and manpower resources to meet output objectives efficiently.
- Assign tasks to employees to optimize production performance, maintain quality standards, and achieve output goals.
- Identify and resolve production and material-related challenges to minimize disruptions and maintain schedules.
- Perform visual inspections of components and completed systems to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain detailed records of production data, testing results, and other key assembly-related documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and production teams to improve assembly processes and enhance efficiency.
- Recommend process improvements to boost productivity and reduce production costs.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Keep tools and work areas clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; a technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a related field.
- Proven ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining a strong focus on quality and precision.
- Experience documenting tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and reporting any product, process, or equipment failures.
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with workplace safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Physical requirements: Ability to lift to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications for documentation and reporting.
- Hands-on experience using hand and power tools for mechanical and electrical assembly.
- Experience with robotic systems is a plus.
