ChefAdvantage has an exciting opportunity working at one of our client school sites in Tuscaloosa, AL. We are seeking an experienced barista/cashier that is able to prepare and serve various drinks and food items, as well as cashier.
We are looking for exceptional people that know how to provide top notch customer service.
Hours: 8 hour shift between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Days: Monday - Friday
NO WEEKENDS!
FREE FOOD!!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea and various other drinks
- Prepare and serve light food items
- Properly handle and maintain all equipment
- Clean and sanitize all work stations
- Operate POS system, follow appropriate cash-handling procedures
- Respond to orders, questions, concerns and complaints in a polite manner
- Serve customers quickly and efficiently
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of food and drink offerings
-Observe relevant health and safety standards
We are seeking an energetic, team player with excellent customer service skills who is able to work with minimal supervision. Must have knowledge of various commercial cooking equipment and exercise good judgment and skills in the presentation, tasting, and service of various food and drink products.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attendance/punctuality
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Strong ability to multi-task
- Basic math skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
