About the Role
Chefman is looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Test Kitchen Assistant to join our Culinary Team. This role involves testing and refining recipes, product functions, and cooking settings to ensure our products and recipes meet the highest standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Test cooking times, temperatures, and product performance across multiple appliances.
- Check cooking charts for accuracy and consistency.
- Test recipes according to kitchen standards.
- Provide clear and actionable feedback on test results.
- Assist with product, firmware, and feature testing, offering detailed feedback.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to suggest new ideas and improvements.
- Support daily kitchen tasks such as cleaning, organizing, grocery shopping, and maintaining the kitchen.
- Keep a clean, efficient, and safe workspace.
- Help create and improve kitchen processes as needed.
Skills and Experience:
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a culinary or test kitchen setting
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques and culinary principles
- High attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative team player
- 1–2 years of experience in recipe or product testing preferred
- Experience with kitchen appliances and product testing is a plus
