Chef responsibilities include grocery shopping and preparing high-quality dishes. You should be able to make pleasant conversation while preparing meals in a timely manner. You should have experience or interest in working with the senior community. This is a part-time, independent position.

Responsibilities
- Travel to the client's home (reimbursement included)
- Grocery shop and cook food in a timely manner
- Box and label food after it is prepared
- Track grocery expenses using phone application
- Modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove sugar)
- Monitor food stock in client's home
- Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the home kitchen (ServSafe)
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Chef or Cook
- Valid driver’s license and working vehicle
- Can lift 25 LBS
- Pass criminal background check
- Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
- Excellent time management abilities
- Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
- Familiarity with sanitation regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent. Culinary school diploma preferred.
- Legally authorized to work in the US
