Position Summary : The Plant Manager directs the efficient and cost-effective operation of our production and warehousing facility. Manages activities related to storage of goods and inventory management. Overseas outbound activities related to order-filling, stock replenishment and shipping of products. Responsible for budgeting, customer service, facility, and equipment operations. Administers overall productivity, accuracy, and loss prevention programs to ensure that customer requirements are met.
Responsibilities :
- Improve the operational systems, processes, and policies in support of organizations' mission -specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
- Manage the coordination of communication between clients, customer service, and facility.
- Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
- Oversee overall financial management, planning, systems, and controls within the facility.
- Organize to service each business department while maintaining and improving production efficiency to aid in meeting our business goal.
- Interface cross-functionally at all levels within the divisions of the company, including communication with offshore / subsidiary management, external resources, including governmental agencies (USDA).
- Troubleshoot and provide solutions for issues of a moderate to complex scope.
- Being readily available for when issues arise during and outside of work hours.
