Position Summary : Our growing organization is looking for a skilled problem solver to join our team as a Customer Service Representative . We need an enthusiastic individual who can listen to customer service issues and then offer a unique and innovative solution to each problem. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong command of the company's customer service policies and be well-trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customers.

What you'll do :

  • Receive incoming calls from customers, emails, fax, voicemail, and enter orders into the system.
  • Run production reports as requested by the warehouse team.
  • Inform customer of items not ordered or out of stock per regular ordering process offering substitutions where available.
  • Work with outside sales team reporting irregularities and issues. Direct phone calls to the appropriate team members.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Deal professionally on the phone and in person with customers, vendors and fellow employees. Cooperate with other members of the sales and production team to ensure the customer receives an excellent level of service.
  • Assist with processing special orders and customer price lists.
  • Run credits as approved by management.
  • Assist with AR / AP functions.
  • Provide backup vacation coverage for outside sales associates and assist with workload of fellow team members when absent.
  • Attend sales meetings and take part in sales activities as needed.
  • Additional projects or tasks may be assigned as needed.

About you :

  • High School Diploma or higher degree required.
  • 2-4 years of meat industry experience required.
  • Minimum 4 years in customer service / sales required.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English language required. Spanish a plus.
  • Strong technology and computer skills required. Experience with Canopy system a plus.
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
  • Self-motivated, professional ability to multitask, and work well under pressure.

    Lo que harás :

  • Recibir llamadas entrantes de clientes, correos electrnicos, fax, correo de voz e ingresar pedidos en el sistema.
  • Ejecutar informes de produccin según lo solicite el equipo del almacén.
  • Informar al cliente sobre los artículos no pedidos o fuera de stock según el proceso de pedido regular ofreciendo sustituciones cuando estén disponibles.
  • Trabajar con el equipo de ventas externo informando irregularidades y problemas. Dirigir las llamadas telefnicas a los miembros del equipo correspondientes.
  • Establecer y mantener relaciones con los clientes.
  • Tratar profesionalmente por teléfono y en persona con clientes, proveedores y compañeros de trabajo. Cooperar con otros miembros del equipo de ventas y produccin para garantizar que el cliente reciba un excelente nivel de servicio.
  • Ayudar con el procesamiento de pedidos especiales y listas de precios de clientes.
  • Ejecutar créditos según lo aprobado por la gerencia.
  • Asistir con funciones de AR / AP.
  • Brindar cobertura de vacaciones de respaldo para asociados de ventas externos y ayudar con la carga de trabajo de los compañeros de equipo cuando estén ausentes.
  • Asistir a reuniones de ventas y participar en actividades de ventas según sea necesario.
  • Se pueden asignar proyectos o tareas adicionales según sea necesario.
  • Acerca de usted :

  • Diploma de escuela secundaria o título superior requerido.
  • Se requieren de 2 a 4 años de experiencia en la industria de la carne.
  • Se requieren mínimo 4 años en servicio al cliente / ventas.
  • Se requiere capacidad para leer, escribir y hablar con fluidez en inglés. El español es una ventaja.
  • Se requieren slidos conocimientos de tecnología e informática. La experiencia con el sistema Canopy es una ventaja.
  • Debe ser un jugador de equipo con una actitud positiva.
  • Automotivado, capacidad profesional para realizar múltiples tareas y trabajar bien bajo presin.
