If you love kids and cooking, then this is the job for you! Successful candidates will be assigned to various locations for fun camps with kids. Camps are coming up fast. Campers want awesomeness in their instructors. Depending upon your availability there are morning and/or afternoon camps. Campers age from 7 and up.
Camps are from 9am - noon; and 1pm - 4pm. Each camp is at one location per week. Each location has multiple camps scheduled with us for the summer.
Chefsville goes the extra mile to build a job around the candidate's available hours and location.
Duties include tasks of gathering supplies, ingredients, recipes, and activities for each camp session.
Each camp will have at least 2 staff members assigned to each program consisting of one lead instructor and one assistant instructor. Additional assistant instructors are assigned based on the number of campers registered.
As our company name implies, cooking is our main focus, however we offer physical activity at our camps as well along with teaching aids and games that reinforce problem-solving, common sense and critical thinking skills.
Optional: If candidate is available for weekends, there could be programs such as Saturday cooking classes, scouting programs, library and birthday parties. Chefsville offers flexible schedules so this an ideal job for college students.

Job Locations: Range from Allen to Grapevine. Funds will be provided to candidates for gas for any extra driving.
Duties include planning, acquisition, preparation of materials and supplies needed programs.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED plus relevant work experience. Candidates must have completed high school. Some college preferred. Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet camp staffing needs. A degree program will be considered. Successful candidates need to enjoy cooking and have interest in educating kids about food and health.

Other experience with summer camp and volunteering with kids counts as experience.
Requirements:

Responsibilities include leading a group of students to explore exciting adventures with food! Work collaboratively with peers to build children’s sense of curiosity and creativity. Successfully provide a caring, family-friendly environment where positive relationships can be built. Camp instructors are responsible for planning and implementing program directives. Some instructors will be assigned shopping, gathering coordination of equipment, recipes, educational materials and game materials.
Other skills: Computer literacy required. People skills required. Microsoft Office products preferred. Candidate must have access to computer, internet, and printer. Job duties involve occasional use of technology. Cooking basics needed.
